The 12% Aluminum Chloride deodorants by other brands (namely Certain-Dri) do not cut it for me. The extra 3% in this (for 15% total) somehow makes a big difference. I have started using this instead of my 20% Drysol because this is cheaper, works just as well, and does not require a prescription. Note: After two decades of using Drysol, I have discovered that the most effective application method for me is to completely air dry my armpits after a shower under a fan. Apple, then air dry again. The process is time consuming but worth it.

So I found this item and read the ingredients which were similar to another company that charged a lot more so I now use this one instead. It is the only deodorant/ anti perspirant that actually works for someone who sweats a lot.

Literally changed my professional life. There's nothing worse than feeling self-conscious about excessive sweating every minute of the day; or staining every light colored shirt you own. I even recoiled at the idea of hugging the women in my life. Sweat can be embarrassing. I've been using Maxim for about four years now and haven't looked back. I am a truly grateful customer. And while armpits aren't exactly the kind of conversation people want to have, I tell anyone I think who would appreciate the insight. At least two of my friends would echo my experience. It's good stuff and it works overnight.

I have rather sensitive skin but I have had no problems with this product. Some people report stinging but I have not felt significant stinging. I apply it at night (as recommended by the manufacturer) and it has reduced by sweating DRASTICALLY. I applied it every day for about 2 months and I only apply it about 2-3 times a week now and it has held up well. I wear A LOT of white t-shirts and I have had zero staining. After letting it dry, I apply a small amount of Schmidt's Charcoal and Magnesium before bed, and add more in the morning WITHOUT reapplying the Maxim. Zero stains from either. I highly recommend this combo if you are worried about staining.

This is great stuff but I personally wouldn’t wear it every day. I’m a heavy sweater and it saves my best shirts - it’s strong and itches (a bit sore) if you wear it too much so I save it for going out only and expensive clothes I don’t want to ruin

Works and makes me itchy.

This is the best antiperspirant I have ever used. As a woman who is plagued with embarrassing profuse sweating living in hot, humid southwest Florida, that says a lot!! Customer service is superb also. Called with a concern over skin irritation when I first used it and was given great advise on how to prevent this. I couldn't be happier. Will use this stuff for life!
