It's also good for breeders or egg layers.It is inexpensive and easy to use. I'm ordering right now. I am editing my review because I wanted to let everyone know that I ordered and this product came in very quick. It's a nice easy to use powder clean and fresh and as someone else said so much easier than trying to grind up cuttlebone and other products. It's a big jar and with one bird should last me a very long at a great price.
