That said, while I get compliments on the appearance, there are some things that aren't terrific.First, the battery loses some charge fairly quickly. That's not a great characteristic.And there are two shortcomings with the case that holds the phone. It appears to be molded in a clear polycarbonate or another brittle plastic, then powder coated or painted with a high gloss finish. The finish on the phone makes the case very slick, resulting in it getting dropped much more often than when I use my regular case (which is made from a more flexible plastic and with a neoprene or similar finish). And when it's dropped, the stiff plastic chips and fractures.The stiffness of the material made it a bit difficult to get the phone in and out of the case (at least until one figures out how best to do it - read on) and the stress of removing it the first time cracked it at the thin spot on the side next to the volume controls on the phone. Turns out the trick to removing it, avoiding the stress crack, is to flex the side *opposite* the controls (insert a thumbnail into the right side as you look at the screen), and then push the phone over the lip of the case by putting your finger through the key hole in the back where the battery itself is secured. Snapping it back in by sliding the left side in first turns out to be quick and easy.Like I said, for the price it is fine. If they were to address the battery performance, and the plastic and coating, it would be a terrific value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hubby's iPhone 4 is revitalized with plenty of charge and a great new grip. *by K***K on Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2018* Hubby's iPhone 4 that he uses just for Sp*tify and other music would only hold a charge for an hour. This great little case frees him from dragging around a portable charger. He says he never has to charge his iPhone 4 except at night like his iPhone 5s. Another great benefit is that since his phone is so small and he has large hands, it makes the phone a touch bigger, adds a little heft, and makes it much easier for him to grip. If he does drop it, it adds a bit of protection.
