Your thumb and middle finger sit comfortably around the bottle but probably only about 2-3mm in. There’s no extra grip as such but it does make the bottle more comfortable to hold. It is a nice product and does give you a good indication of how much you should be drinking. **Q: Is that is compatible with bike bottle holder?** A: I can confirm the dimensions of the bottle 7.2cm width 25.5cm height. **Q: Can it be used without a straw and can the straw be removed?** A: The straw is joined on. Comfortable handle to carry around with me around the house or even outdoors. Lightweight enough for my arthritic hands to handle and easy to open and close. If turned upside down or tipped when its not fully closed it can drip as theres a tiny pin prick gap at the top to hold the straw in place when its closed. But any leaks are my own fault for not fully closing it. I'd highly recommend this bottle, its easy to use, clean, and actively encourages you with the timings on the sides.
