The containers that go in the water pan are really nice to hold food, of course, but equally nice to stuff with "take home" food for our guests - just have to cover with a bit of foil and boom - no need to purchase other storage containers! If we had not sent people home with the inserts, I'm pretty sure I could have gotten away with using the set all 3 years we have hosted our open house. These are totally worth the (great!) price. Perfect for a party and everything is all in 1 box. 2 complaints: **First, the serving tins are a little flimsy when full of soup. It holds it well once it's in the rack but I wasn't able to walk with the tin once it was full. It would fold up and spill so I had to double it up to walk with it then take out the second tin once I got it to the rack. **Second: The large tins used to hold the water are not exactly re-usable. They get really burnt and black on the inside after 1 use. Not a huge deal because the tins can be purchased at the dollar store. The racks are great and definitely reusable though! The wire frames for the chafing dishes are very sturdy and we have already used them om two separate occasions. It include the sternos to keep your food hot while it's being served.
