It is well built. The motor has overload protection feature. And the stainless steel jars are very well made. The lids slide into and out of the jars seamlessly. It'll be two years this September since we bought it and is still running great. The quality is almost as good as the grinders that we get in India. All Indians in USA should know that the quality of the Indian grinders we get here is not on par with what we get in India.
