I did remove the hand helt clip and replaced with with a C Clip. The little D Shaped metal is alittle heavy duty compared to some of their other cases how ever it is small and you can use a large C Clip. The Zipper also seems to be of good quality and the zipper tab is nice chunk of metal. My only complaint is i suspect the fish netting will eventually rip. I used to go through cables at a rate of 1 every three months. With this cable i haven't replaced a cable because i haven't lost of damaged any yet. That alone has paid for the case. its also saved a lot of time since i dont have to dig in my back pack or untangle cables any more.
