BANDAI HGUC 1/144 RGM-79D GM Cold DISTRICTS Specification (Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 war in The Pocket) (Japan Import)

What can I say about the GM? Employed by the Earth Federation in Universal Century 0079, the GM was the standard line-unit for the One Year War. Since then, they've been improved, and the Colds District variant was one of the earliest improvements to the standard GM. This kit showcases the basic deployment of the this great variation. The kit had one 90mm Machinegun, one Beamsaber hand, and one shield. Simplistic, stylish, and by far, my favorite style of GM; this is nor red-shirt. This is the leader of the red-shirts. He is the head stormtrooper, in the great imperial army. Even if the GM seems basic, this is worth it.

First and foremost, for the price, this is one of the neatest kits I've come across. The most dated parts of the kit are the shoulders, which are the transitional rod type shoulders, with the rods coming from the torso, and the hands, which just aren't as detailed as later kits. Still, for being a kit from 2003 I was quite impressed with the quality overall, and I have plans to purchase at least two more of these.

for a mass produced Federation mobile suit it looks great and it is an easy build

After watching the first few Gundam Anime series in the Universal Century Timeline, I became a huge gundam fan and wanted something to mark my appreciation and enjoyment of the series. After looking into it, what better way then Gunpla. I ordered this model, the GM Cold Districts Type, that I recognized from Gundam: War In the Pocket. For my first Gunpla Model, it took me about 2 and a half hours to build. It wasn't too hard and I spent more time cutting out peices rather than assembling. However the articulation of the body in this piece was amazing although I am still uncertain in how it compares to other model kits and or grades. But for my first gunpla I found the articulation awesome. There were some things i found a little off however. One of the arms didn't quite fit completely well together and I found the same problem with one of the legs and the piece felt a bit loose. The fact that I was forced to use scisscors and a swiss army knife instead of a side cutter and a hobby knife most likely contrinbuted to the looseness. There was also a problem with the rifle stock not fitting in quite correctly with the forearm of the gm however with some figdeting and manual picture reference you can pull it off. Despite these minor issues the great articulation allows for a great variety of poses and this piece is a great contribution to any gunpla collection.

There is not much add-on weapon available besides the typical machine gun, saber beam and a shield. It's a very simple and modest model kit, not even have additional decals like "E.F.S.F." for decoration. Price is very affordable when you compare with other HGUC 1/144. No complaint and no regret!

older and needs a bit of work. Seam lines down the middle of the arm and legs. Needs work, but will look decent. Can't beat the price.

The model was a fun, simple build. Poseability isn't perfect, but it's HG so that can happen.

Overall cool design and cheap if youre looking for an easy and cool figure. The downside is that some of the parts dont fit nicely. Especially the head and the PC silicone neck joint. I had to trim off chunks just to make it fit and then i ended up just gluing the neck joint permanently onto the chest piece so i could attach the head. Then again it is a really cheap kit. But i didnt expect all these problems.

Es un kit muy bonito y muy detallado y el vendedor ase el envío muy rápido eso es muy bueno para mi pues llega antes el producto y si otorga número de seguimiento y eso me serbio mucho para rastrear mi paquete lo recomiendo mucho al vendedor de este producto un poquito maltratada la caja pero todo bien

I love the the gm cold district since SDGO with gm cold district repair and thanks to tht it gave me an idea to use some of the transparent runner to make a repair kun (kit+gun=kun)

Si no sobre-pagas, lo compras por un precio cercano al "retail" japonés, entonces merecerá la pena. Es muy vieja y muy básica pero por un precio muy acorde y siendo extremadamente ideal para "engordar" filas de un ejército por coleccionismo o un diorama, o también ideal como conejillo de indias para probas técnicas nuevas para "seam removal" o pintar.
