I'm in need of a replacement diaphragm and ring or gasket that holds it.** A: I had the exact same issue with my scope. The manufacturer is local here on Long Island and I brought it to them directly. It was a factor in choosing the ADC over the Littman. They repaired it on the spot and also replaced the ear pieces with an updated part having ear buds which will not unscrew and get lost . It took about ten minutes. All free of charge. I give them 5 stars for service. **Q: Does this scope compete with littmann master cardiolgy or other model? what is the difference in acoustic performance between the two?** A: I had a cards 3 and between the two I can hear considerably better with this than the Littmann. My husband (not medical) even listened to compare them and asked how I could even hear the heart beating with my card 3. It is heavier on n weight then the Littmann. But for the price it’s a steal. **Q: Does the lifetime warranty cover the tubing? I frequently have problem with the spring breaking or the tubing cracking.** A: absolutely! No need to worry... the lifetime warranty will cover that! **Q: Tactical (black) finish would wear or peel with heavy use after time???** A: As with any tactical black paint, yes it would.
