I chose this for its comfort and light support as my ligaments heal from repeated twists that happen when I walk on river rock. I could wear a boot (or my hiking boots), but I traded a bit of added stability for comfort. I sometimes forget how to properly wrap it around my ankle, but eventually I figure it out.
