Respro Labs Natural Melatonin Patch, 7 mg Continuous Release - 10 Patches

AMAZING PRODUCT!!!! I have tried many variations of melatonin and sleeping pills before, with little luck. When taking melatonin in the past, I would become extremely sleepy, and fall into a deep sleep, and have very vivid and disturbing nightmares. After a little research I found that this is very common because your body is flooded with one single dose of melatonin, and the body does not know how to handle just a large dose, so it basically goes crazy. Clearly this was not going to work, because I was waking up multiple times in the night and waking up groggy in the morning. Then I turned to traditional sleeping pills. I found that these were EXTREMELY habit forming, and I knew this was not good for my body. Upon finding these patches I was a little skeptical due to my negative experience with melatonin pills. What ultimately sold me was this product is a SLOW RELEASE patch. I decided to give these a shot and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! These patches do not cause me to have disturbing nightmares, due to their slow release formula. Additionally, they are not habit forming. Within 3 days consistent nights use my NATURE sleep/wake cycle was restored. After 3 days of consecutive use, there was no need for me to continue use. I now get sleepy at the right times, and wake up refreshed with sustained energy through the day. Melatonin is a hormone that our body naturally produces at certain times of day, but due to today’s real world demands, this cycle can easily be thrown out of harmony. And when this cycle is disrupted, you just begin use again until the cycle is restored. This patch easily, conveniently, and safely helped restore my body’s natural cycle. I highly recommend this product to anyone needing to restore and restart their circadian rhythm!

Very expensive. Do not work. Do not stay on. When I 'taped' the patch on, it still did not work for me. I tried a number of times. The most expensive, does not adhere to my skin and does not help with my sleep.

Wonderful solution for my sleep disordered, special needs child with ADHD. Very much wish they were cheaper though. Onset of action seems quite slow but I expected that. I put the patch on at the same time I give a 300mcg dose and it has worked wonders. Still wakes up noticeably about every 2 hours but falls back to sleep SOOO much faster. The times I've had to go into his room while he was sleeping he still woke up but at least sounded a little drowsy (like anyone would). Before, it always seemed like he wasn't really even sleeping in the first place. Wide awake and chatty and the first hint of sound. My greatest worry was lingering daytime drowsiness but I haven't noticed anything significant.

If I use two patches, I MIGHT sleep better. But for the most part, it is pretty hit or miss with me. I certainly cannot use it every night because after two uses, it does nothing. This is a relatively hight dose of melatonin, so I thought it would be very effective. But it was a disappointment - even when I use a DOUBLE DOSE. I can use it a couple of time per week and, even though it helps some, this is not a cure for my sleep issues. As it stands now, I use a different remedy almost every night of the week and when I keep my body guessing, I get better results. So, for now, I'll keep using this and I'll also keep looking for something that works better. Everyone is different, so it might work better for someone else. I am a particularly hard case so I don't want to put others off of this because it might work better in a different person.

This product works! I've used melatonin pills before and they never really did much for me, and made me feel foggy the next day. I generally use Ambien, but wanted something more natural. I only use these patches 2-3 times a week, since I felt a bit foggy when using them daily, but that's just me. Also, unlike the melatonin pills, and sometimes with Ambien, you don't have weird, vivid dreams. I'm on my 4th packet of these patches and will keep ordering them. As a side note, I just started using CBD gummies, and that helps as well.

I use this patch on the nights before a race when i know I won't sleep well. It helps me rest and I do not wake up feeling groggy.

I only used the product once. It gave me nightmares. It was easy to put on and remove.

Amazing product! I don't often review on Amazon, but these have been such a lifesaver. We've been using for a few months for my 4 year old with autism. Before he would wake up in the night and be awake for several hours. We tried every other form of Melatonin--liquid, pills, creams. nothing seemed to work well and it was often next to impossible to get a child to take it. These cut our number of sleepless nights in half. Not a total cure, but it made a big difference.
