Which is better for nutrition wise?** A: Expeller pressed is the traditional method that has been used for extracting oils for thousands of years. Cold pressed is expeller pressed in a controlled climate so that the temperature doesn't rise above 120°, or something close to that, depending on the source. It isn't a regulated term in the USA. Expeller pressed does not control what ever heat is generated by the pressure from the pressing.Refined oil, using applied heat and or chemicals, is the type you want to avoid.
