Review: bones reds are the best bearings - The are absolutely the best functional bearings I have bought that I use. The spin quality is awesome. I can go almost a whole revolution around the rink without pushing when I have tried to see how far they can roll. My wheels are rated at 94 and 92 on these bearings and they both work great with these reds. Noise level is fine because I am usually skating at a skating rink where there is loud music. I am having no issues with durability. The look of them is fine.

**Q: Will these fit bones rough rider wheels?**

**Q: How deep are they measured at ?  I’m looking for thinner bearings so the nut on my skate can grab more threads .. thanks for the help in advance**
A: To the best of my knowledge, bearings now come in standardized thickness — so that won’t solve your problem. Here’s a couple of suggestions:
 (1) If you are using spacers between each bearing on the inside, spacers come in huge variety of widths and if the spacers are too wide this will 100% cause the axel nuts to shorten. Take out the spacers and you’re all set.
(2) wheels come in different widths— besides the diameter and durometer you can get super small and larger width wheels. Your set could be a bad match for your axels. Depending on the brand of your plates, you might get replacements.
(3) Axel nuts wear out! It is recommended that you change over time. I’d say once a year, if you’re changing wheels frequently. You can buy them in a hardware store — just be sure if you need 8mm (more common these days) or 7mm nuts. Very inexpensive and might keep your wheels on tight.

**Q: The listing's title says 2011 but the description says 2014.  If I order the 7mm, will I get the 2011 or 2014 bearing?**
A: You will get a new set of bearings. I mean, I don’t work for the company or anything, but I h e ordered many, MANY sets of these bearings. I have never even paid any attention to the year in the posting. I just order bearings, and a new set of bearings shows up.

I don’t think there is such a things as a 2014 or 2011 bearing. It’s just a bearing. Don’t over-think it too much.

**Q: Do spacers come with this item?**
A: No, spacers are not included with this item. You will need to buy them separately.

The are absolutely the best functional bearings I have bought that I use. The spin quality is awesome. I can go almost a whole revolution around the rink without pushing when I have tried to see how far they can roll. My wheels are rated at 94 and 92 on these bearings and they both work great with these reds. Noise level is fine because I am usually skating at a skating rink where there is loud music. I am having no issues with durability. The look of them is fine.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fast and smooth ...pretty much like everybody says

These are the first serviceable inline skate bearings I've ever had which only have a rubber shield on one side, the other side being open... they're also the fastest, very smooth and probably longest spinning. Almost a little disorienting how fast they were when I first skated on them. But that extra momentum you get with bearings like these seems to help you improve your skating technique I'm also noticing because of increased "foot speed". Bearings with a shield on only one side from what I've read are usually faster because of the reduced friction, but these may also spin better and be faster due to closer manufacturing tolerances for all I know. Haven't taken them apart yet to look and not going to until they start getting noisier and slower. May also be faster, etc. due to the lubricant they use. . They're also cheaper than bearings I've had in the past which were also usually more expensive. If they remain this fast after I take them apart, clean them and use my own lube on them a couple of times I'll be pretty impressed.
