## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it really runs at 20mhz as the product description says? when i compile i see -df_cpu=16000000.**
A: By default it runs at 16MHz. You can modify the board.txt file to have it run at 20MHz however it confuses some libraries so only proceed if you have low level programming experience and can fix the problems.

**Q: The pinout diagram list some pins with an extra '~', e.g. ~D10. What is special about those pins?**
A: The pins with the ~ mark are PWM pins, capable of Pulse Width Modulation. Useful for brightness or speed control, among other things.

**Q: Are the port registers the same between the uno and every? will my existing uno code that uses port registers work without modification on the every?**
A: No, the underlying port and peripheral architecture is completely different. You will have to rework your code, but the benefits are the Nano Every has more memory, is faster, and has more capabilities that the Arduino library doesn't use. Less expensive too!

**Q: When using with the arduino ide, does it run at 20mhz or 16mhz?**
A: 16
