Question 1

I have had these for a few months and the ear cup is already becoming worn. They are used daily but handled with care. Can the ear cups be replaced?

There are replacement earpads for both the HD660 S and its predecessor the HD650 available from the makers Sennheiser, the replacement is straightforward and videos exist on the internet for those uncertain as to how to do it.  I found them easily here on Amazon but I imagine there are many sources.

Question 2

Are these good for baroque music? do they need an amp? shall i get this model or hd 600?

The HD 660S are excellent headphones and they will play any music well.  Great allrounder open, dynamic and very detailed so make sure you match them up will a decent system as they will expose a poor setup.
They need a week or so to burn in so don't be disappointed when they show up and they are a bit light weight.  They will sound great after a few weeks. They are also very comfortable to wear so you can't really go wrong at the price.  Highly recommended.

Question 3

Do these have good bass extension, including sub bass (like the open back audio-technica ath-r70x)?

These are monitoring headphones meaning they will have a flat response as we want this to sound as natural as possible however these start from 10Hz meaning it will be able to handle lower end frequencies well.

Question 4

If i am using with a hi res dap, is headphone amp still required to drive these to get best out? and would dragonfly cobalt suit?

Do you mean DAC? ? The HD660s have a fairly reasonable impedance at 150 ohms but still require a headphone amp to give them more control.
The Dragonfly cobolt is a fairly good portable amp/Dac but the build quality isn’t great in some reviews I’ve heard. I use mine with a Topping D50s Dac & a JDS Labs Atom headphone amp. It isn’t portable but sounds superb for the price point
