Review: Very good replacement for Estée Lauder double wear - Ive been using Estée Lauder double wear for over 10 years until they reformulated it recently, so was looking for a replacement. Someone on Reddit recommended this one and I thought I’d try it as its feet affordable. I had shade Ecru in double wear so ordered light beige for this one. I have to say I am very impressed, and it’s almost the same as double wear at a quarter of the cost. The shade is a great match for me. It gives me full coverage and the finish is matt, just like double wear. The main differences are: Catrice dries up faster so you need to move a bit quicker, and I think it oxidises a little bit but still looks very good. I haven’t tested to see if it lasts 24h cause I’m never gonna wear it for so long, but so far it seems to last ok.

**Q: Can you use this in an airbrush machine?**
A: I found this info when I searched for the answer:  You need special airbrush makeup to go with the machine. Traditional foundation is way too thick for an airbrush on its own, but mixing some of your favorite foundation with an airbrush makeup thinner lets you use it with your airbrush.

**Q: Is this non toxic**
A: Yes it is non toxic

**Q: Is this foundation great for oily skin?**
A: I have oily skin & it leaves a nice matte finish. I don’t have to use the oil absorbing sheets like I have with other foundations.

**Q: Does it rub off on clothing**
A: It does. Unfortunately I've had it happen numerous times. On my clothes, coat, other people's clothes etc.

I don't tend to bother writing reviews - but this stuff is remarkably good for the price. All my life I've never really bothered with liquid foundation - when I was younger, a concealer stick and powder did the job 🤣. Now I'm getting older those sticks just get stuck in the creases around my eyes and make them more obvious, so I knew I had to change. This product is quite runny, but smoothes out over your skin seamlessly and isn't tacky or cakey like some products. It's also not heavy, so you don't feel it on your skin all day. My skin tone varies between their ivory beige and light beige, so I buy both and the blend beautifully. Lovely natural colour! A little goes a long way too - I think I bought mine nearly a year ago and only just rebuying now - and I wear makeup nearly every day! No complaints, highly recommend.
