A Shaun The Sheep Movie: Farmageddon [DVD] [2019]

Another Brilliant Movie from Aardman. So much humour at so many levels. You need to watch this Movie more than once and even then you miss some of the detail.. An ABSOLUTE must watch. Well Done Shaun. Missed the Penguin Cameo. If it wasnt there it should have been :(

Shaun and his friends are living their usual, somewhat hindered lives on the farm. The dog scuppers any opportunity for adventure and the farmer is looking to expand his business with some kind of get rich quick scheme. And then, one day, an alien appears in the barn. Devoted to his stomach and a big fan of sugar, the little guy has an ear for mimicry but will he be able to locate his spaceship? And how much trouble is he in for taking it while his parents slept? There were lots of little laughs in this Sunday afternoon of a film. Like all Aardman movies, it was a cracker. I really enjoyed it. Also, it was surprisingly moving, given that there was very little spoken language in it. I don’t know how Aardman films do this to me, but they always do.

Having read one or two other reviews of this film which complained of the amount of Americanization involved I have to admit that I was dubious about buying it. I’m glad though that I didn’t let those reviews put me off. Yes, there are undoubtedly some things which may irritate British fans of Shaun the Sheep. However, the principal characters remain essentially unchanged and remain true to the originals. One or two scenes and particularly the American songs are most definitely irritating but not so much that they detract from enjoying the storyline and the animation. If you are a fan of the products coming out of Aardman studios then this film is definitely worth getting!

I'm in my late 40's, this film isn't just for kids, it follows on from the Wallace and Grommit skillset and is a great watch. Great fun no matter you age

I got this as we had our Grandson over the weekend and he wanted to watch it. To tell the truth I was all Sheeped Out after watching Shaun The Sheep cartoons all morning, but at least I thought it would make a change. I am glad he wanted to see it, it was a great film full of laughs for him, and even my husband and I were laughing out loud at some of the antics of Shaun and the little alien. There were references that children would not get but had us adults amused. Fair enough there is a lot of ET in the plot but as our grandson had never even heard of that it didn't spoil it for him at all. I would really recommend this to while away a rainy weekend afternoon.

Absolutely loved it!! We really enjoyed the first Shaun The Sheep movie and this was a brilliant sequel. Lost count of all the sci-fi references and pieces of accompanying music. Also, we like the way they keep the characters with their original sounds/voices as in the CBBC series. Fantastic.

I could not get it to play despite having a region-free player. It turns out that for this disc you have to manually set the player to Region B. All my other Region B (Europe) play with the automatic choice on. This one not so. Anyway when I made the change it played fine. The movie itself was great!

The funniest movie for everyone to enjoy This was my Grandchildren’s first movie at 3 years old .The first thing they ( grandchildren) ages 3,4:5:6, want to see is Sean the Sheep.Evenif they can’t pick up the whole story they are soon pointing out the Bad DogCatcher ,and laughing at the funny humour.The 3 yr old used to say Aun the Eep before her speech could pronounce them correctly At first no one knew what she was saying until her brother figured it out
