Cone style bearing heater is designed to safely heat bearings, gears, collars and sprockets so that they can be easily installed on cold shafts. As the Bering or other part is heated it expands and can then be easily installed on a cold shaft. Capacity range; 3/8-Inch - 5 3/4-Inch bearings, gears, collars and sprockets. Includes 250 degree temperature indicator crayon for marking parts when heating them. Bearing heaters provide a safe way to heat bearings and other parts with center bores to allow mounting on cold shafts with out damaging the part being installed. Operates on 120volt single phase power supply, cord included. Operator must use protective material to handle heated bearings and other parts. Designed of use on steel, brass, bronze, copper and aluminum bearings and parts. Not suitable for plastic or other non metallic materials.
