The image shows plastic-backed buttons. Are there ones with metal backings that work?** A: I use the metal ones **Q: How does this attach to the palmgren ap05 0.5 ton arbor press?** A: I'm not familiar with that particular button press. However, this mold will work with any that you can place the mold under the metal rod. It is 2 pieces that fit together. You just place it on the platform under the rod and press down. Hope that helps. **Q: What device is compatible with this attachment?** A: I use a Palmgren AP05 0.5 Ton Arbor Press with my 20L, 30L and 40L molds. I added a 3/8" spacer between the bottom die and base and was able to get it to work, sort of.The seller does not seem to know much about these and offered no solid suggestions for fabric type nor button type, and I waited to 'hear back from the engineer' until my return window expired.
