Tuck in the plastic bag! *by C***E on May 18, 2022* This has really surprised me. It senses perfectly, closes softly but quickly, has been 4x daily for 6 weeks but same batteries. AND has kept my cats out! Yes, it opens when they go by, but by the time they even think about looking in it, it's closed. Plus, they have no desire to because of the moving lid. No more tissues and gross things left around the house like surprise gifts!! I change the bag enough that odor hasn't been an issue, but I like having a fresh smell anyway. I use a stick-on can go on the inside of the lid as long as it's very light and get a nice little waft of citrus or lavender with every use. Even if I don't need to throw something away, I'll set off the sensor to freshen the air. These are mini fresheners. Very light and perfect size for these cans.
