Two specific highpoints: The author presents an excellent description of why a router tends to veer off course when hand-held and why the veering depends on feed direction and bit rotation direction. Understanding why leads to better techniques for controlling the router when using a fence or template. To me, this lesson was worth the cost of the book. There is a description of the design of a sled used to hold workpieces on a router table. The sled improves safety and accuracy. This proved to be a perfect solution for rounding over the edges of small parts in my application.
