I do not believe that the toy is waterproof but that would be something that the manufacture could answer for you better. Sorry **Q: It says the battery is "uncluded" so was it a typo? Unable to make out what the picture or video is! We had to destroy the box to get it out, so I guess I cant even return. This was a Christmas gift and he was excited to use it.
