**Q: Can the rings on the side be used with a linesman’s belt or are they not safe for climbing.**
A: No, the only rings that can be used with a line mans belt are the two large metal rings that are at the front of the waistbpadding. All other loops on the waist pad are for hanging carabiners, chocks or other lightweight gear.

**Q: Can the side D-rings be used for a safety lanyard for tree work?**
A: Yes! All of the metal D-rings is made to support your weight. The rope rings with rubber around them is made to hold carabiners and light weight tools and etc. but nothing over 10-30 lbs.

**Q: How many pounds can this carry?**
A: According to the certificate of certification it will hold up to 300 kg. That translates to 660 lbs. This is what the belt is rated for. I have not used it yet. I don't think I would push the system anywhere near the limit myself. The wast belt is very hard to tighten. You need to have a buddy to help you, or use a pair of long handle needle nose pliers hope this helps
