This brings back a lot of great memories from my childhood. We purchased this for our nearly 4 year old. It's a bit too much for him but our 8 year old has mastered it. One negative, the cord for the controller is too short. It's a lot to assemble to play with for a few hours so it's now a semi-permanent fixture in our living room. Set up takes a bit of time but once it's together the look is nice.As far as how it works that's another story. Having used the track now for a couple hours, I can honestly say not once has a car gone one full lap around the track.
