You probably could fit a 24 lb. turkey without stuffing. The turkey was delicious! **Q: How can they get away with claims of family made in Indiana for a product made in Mexico?** A: I went through a LOT of trouble to get the roaster made in Indiana. I can tell you this: I contacted Granite Ware and they told me that ALL of their roasters are made in the U.S. (It was not clear to me whether this has always been the case, but obviously someone is doing a poor copy out of Mexico.) Anyhow, at that time Amazon's listing had Granite Ware as the name of the Seller and that is when I bought my made-in-Indiana roaster that I love so much. Since then I have seen it flip twice. For a couple or few weeks the seller was listed as "Columbia House," and it is apparent they are the ones selling the Mexican knockoffs. Now today I see the seller is again listed as "Granite Ware." If you want to be certain that your roaster is made in the USA then double-check on the listing before you buy and first make certain that GRANITE WARE is listed as the seller. Otherwise, my guess is that you will get one from Mexico.
