The material is canvas like with the colors looking as pictured. The front pouch is big enough to hold a small bag or pouch of snacks, I even put hand wipes in it. The lunch bag compacts down nicely to fit in the side door of the freezer. There have been no issues with the freezing liquid/gel being uneven or clumpy to one area. The handle is long enough to support on the shoulders but not long enough to be a crossbody. The interior is a bit narrow, with the launch bag frozen there isn't much room but for two small containers and a couple baggies of snacks. Either way this has been a durable bag that stays very cold, my daughter loves the style of the bag and the colors. Highly Recommend!
