Review: Gorgeous bed! - My daughter loves this bed. Boxes were a bit heavy, nothing my 5' frame couldn't handle. It was also relatively easy to put together. All you need is a screw driver and it comes with the wrenches. Took about an hour to put together and its awesome!!!! The headboard is tufted pleather or leather. Whatever it is, it's fabulous! Wish they had beds like these when I was a kid. I would have KILLED for this!

A: Of course you have to purchase the mattress separately. I actually purchased a temperpedic for $250 at sleepys for it.

A: I will measure in the morning. But I can tell you it sits very low to the ground. Maybe 12 inches with the mattress. My daughter got hers for Christmas when she was 3 and it is perfect for her.
