## Description

AMACO Celadon C-01 Obsidian High Fire Transparent Gloss Glaze is a deep, opaque black that pools and accents textured ware like the ancient glazes it was created to imitate. Apply 3 coats to Cone 04 bisque, allowing glaze to dry between each coat, then fire to Cone 5-6. Shake well before use. 16 oz. (473 mL) jar. Mid-high fire AMACO Celadon "C" Gloss Glazes are transparent glazes formulated to be 100% mixable; create your own hues! They highlight surface texture and bring out the color of the clay underneath. Use Celadon C-11 Mixing Clear (sold separately) to adjust the transparency and soften the color. Celadon Glazes look great under AMACO "PC" Potter's Choice Glazes! (3 coats Celadon, 3 coats Potter's Choice)

Review: Great glaze - One of my most used glazes. Love it!!
Review: Apply thick layers. Pretty color - Pretty color. Works great on textured surfaces. You need to do thick layers. This glaze does not work with gold sharpie resist at all. Thinner layers look very washed out. Make sure to do thick layers.

Easy to use with instructions on bottle. Amaco is always a quality glaze. Came out great on latest project. Good value for the money. My project only needed two coats to come out perfect with nice shine but not too shiny.
