Mine is 8kg.** A: My Yorkshire terrier is 3.5 kg and just about fit in the bag. I am not sure how safe your pug would be considering that the bag wouldn’t fold around him. It was a good size for him and he was comfortable when he was tired. It was handy because it folds quite small and fits in a bag. It’s also well made and throughout its use showed no signs of wear and tear. For us it only worked in dry weather as when the weather is wet and muddy it absorbs water and mud from the dog which rubs off on clothing. Personally I found using this a strain on my neck muscles even though our dog was small although my husband managed fine and carried him for miles.
