A: There are no markings guaranteeing it is a Philip Stein. However Philip Stein bands have a very unique lock and watch link. Mine worked fine no complaints.

A: Gently pry the metal piece under band where it closed. It should not be too easy since you want it to grip well. Just add a little pressure, and it should release.

This bracelet is excellent - I bought it for the lady. It got delivered earlier than expected, it is not too flashy and nor too heavy on her wrist. I'm guessing here that it is a 316F as it has more sheen(white) than a regular 316L polished SS.On the downside, after just about 2 weeks of use she noticed that the knob of the quick release pin (spring bar) in one end was missing and i had to use tweezers to slide out the bracelet from the lug but other than that the bracelet is in great condition.Would have given this bracelet 5 stars if not for the missing knob =)

Perfect! Made the watch looked brand new again. The watch was bought 14 years ago with an ostrich leather strap that has worn out over the years. Went to Nordstrom or other big stores but just can't find the right replacement. Found this stainless steel, and I know it is a genuine Philip Stein. It is expensive but that's is what you get for a quality product. Love Philip Stein!!!
