I get the turkey chumps.....the sodium, fat & sat fat very low. The best of the jerky types...when you compare dietary guidelines **Q: How are these preserves?** A: First of all, there are NO "preservatives" in the CHOMPS Mini's. They are 100% natural, grass-fed beef sticks (dee-lish, BTW, IMO). They are packaged, however, in a "vaccum-sealed" type of plastic wrap which allows for some storage "shelf life." I have been slowly eating my way through my first order of them and I am entirely satisfied. I took them along on a motorcycle tour-trip recently as travel snacks, and they were subject to various temperature variations, but I had NO problem with spoilage of any kind...of course, once the individual sticks are opened, they would have to be eaten.
