I removed the molex connector that came with this battery and soldered a Deans connector onto it's leads (after testing it on my programmable charger with the molex connector on) and I haven't had any issues. Wrong location in the JST connector. I just popped the pins out of the connector and reversed them. **Q: Will this battery replace a GSP6532100 (30) battery for a blutooth speaker?** A: If it fits and the wire connection fits, it will work **Q: how is this battery charged?** A: I have a cable that came with the original battery. It has a matching connector for the battery and the other end is a standard USB that plugs into an adapter like you would use for a phone or other device. **Q: Is it necessary to use a special charger/balancer for safety? the battery i’m replacing is in a device that simply has a micro usb input.** A: I went by the spec’s “PCM protection function: over charge, over discharge, over current, short circuit protection.” My purpose was to have my vacuum robot last much longer! I strung 4 of these in series to match the voltage in the robot, and then glue gunned them to the top of my Shark IQ Robot vacuum. I got these flat packs specifically so the robot would still be able to go under furniture Then I connected in Parallel, the 4 batteries that I had in series, to the built-in four 40-60’s internal to the robot. I let the robots built-in charger do the rest. The robot went from about a 45 minute total run time to over 3 1/2 hours. It is now able to complete the whole house in one pass! It’s set for every other day and has been successfully doing this for the last 7-9 months. Works outstandingly well. Neither battery pack gets even slightly warm.
