Review: These Things Work Like Magic - I have been blown away with how well these work in our raised garden beds. I don't know if the yellow color has anything to do with it, but bugs of all kinds seem to be drawn to the cards. Figuring out how to place them without ending up with a lot of sticky mess on your hands is a bit of a learning curve, but I am getting better and better at it. Sometimes I wear nitrile examination gloves to keep my hands from getting any of the sticky residue on them. The positive part is bugs can't escape once they land on the cards due to the stickiness of the cards. So far this year, we have not used any pesticides for bug control. If the sticky cards keep working, maybe we won't need to.

I hung these throughout my cherry tree and they caught aphids, but also the dumb white flies that hit the cherries. I also added ladybugs and was pleasantly surprised that there weren't many ladybugs caught in the traps! just the flies, aphids, and regular flies. And we were able to salvage a bunch of cherries! They are a pain to put up, and smaller than I thought (which maybe isn't a bad thing...bigger would get caught on the leaves in the wind). And I'm not excited to take them all down! But I don't think there is an easier option for something like this. Will definitely keep using these.

**Q: Will this work for lady bugs**
A: Ladybugs are not typically attracted to yellow, which is the main attractant in this product. If a ladybugs ends up on the product, however, it will get stuck. Thank you for choosing Catchmaster!

**Q: Do you think this will attract and harm the bees in my garden as well as the flying pests?**
A: I have never seen a bee come near them or get stuck on them.

**Q: Will these attract and trap the walnut husk fly?**
A: I used it for white flies. Most flying insects were attracted to the yellow color. I would think it would work.

**Q: Will this be good for a fruit fly problem in a house? No plants.**
A: Yes, that is what we bought them for.  We had purchased new dirt for some plants both inside and outside in the garden.  It turns out the gnats, or fruit flies, or whatever, came with the dirt.  These sticky pads attract them and they cannot get free.  The ultimate goal for the garden is to cover it when the growing season is over and kill them in the dirt.  For the inside plants, that's not option without repotting them with dirt without the flies.
