I just love the way this hat looks and feels. I do wish it was a tad smaller, my head is so tiny I always have a hard time finding hats to fit. my heads measures 21 1/4 inch around, and this hat has about a 1/4-1/2 inch to spare, maybe good to accommodate updo such as ponytail or bun. I'm not complaining because it does fit comfortably, not squeezing or putting pressure on my head. I pull the hat down as it sits quite high on my head and causes further space between the hat and my head... I think it looks cute that way though and feels more secure. the leather band detail is really adorable and truly makes the look. its thick oil tanned leather with a cute but subtle logo button as well as an x design with tick threads. it was packaged quite nicely for shipping, protective foam around the band, and not at all squished or misshapen when it arrived. I hope to get oodles of use from this gem! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT hat - REALLY CRAPPY packaging... *by S***. on February 20, 2020* The hat arrived in a plastic mailer BAG! When I opened the mailer and saw a second, too small, clear plastic bag with the hat squished inside, my first dismal thought was - this is going to have to go back - I paid too much for it to arrive haphazardly packaged and misshapen! After getting the second plastic bag open and the hat out - I was AMAZED to find the hat had survived such crappy packaging! I suppose this speaks volumes to the quality of materials used for and construction of the hat. It fits perfectly (my head measurement is 22.5) and I’m still shaking my head over it not being ruined by the way it was packaged and shipped! If I wasn’t instantly crazy about this hat, I would have returned it on principle alone due to the total lack of care when packaging it for shipment. It is beautiful gray felt and will dress up an outfit for special occasion. Men and women compliment me when I wear this one hat. I looked everywhere for anther so when I found on Amazon I ordered 3. It dips down in the front for that sexy look and it also works on the farm to shield the eyes and face from sun and the cold. I am looking for a silver head band to dress it up even more. You won’t be disappointed if you buy this hat. I also have the dark brown one but the rich gray is the one I get most compliments.
