I have been searching for an over-the-calf pair of boots for quite a while and was excited to find a pair that was made by Harley. The package arrived on the first day of the delivery spread and the box was immaculate. When I got them out of the box, I was immediately taken aback by hoe soft the leather was. Most boots come out of the box and they feel much like the box, these did not. The lining is very soft and covers the entirety of the boot. The toes is reinforced, a definite must for riding, but not overdone for someone who would prefer to wear them in a casual setting. The only negative that I could foresee is problems in the summer time. The thicker lining would tend to keep a person's feet really warm and there is not much in the way of ventilation on the boot. Also, they seem to run about a half-size or size too small. I wasn't sure so I ordered one size larger and I am really glad I did. So very comfortable!!! *by N***C on February 7, 2020* I absolutely LOVE these Harley Davidson motorcycle boots!!! I would give them a 10 if I could!!! I read some reviews that said there's a breaking in period. I have to disagree with that, I haven't experienced any problems with these boots at all!!! They felt good on my feet from day one, & I haven't had any problems with them giving me blisters either. I have done quite a bit of walking in them, & they feel great!!! I normally wear a size 5.5, & they recommended I buy a 5.5, but I wear a boot sock, so I did size up to a 6, & I'm glad I did, because they fit perfectly with my boot socks. These boots are made so well, & I'm pretty sure I'll have them for a long time to come.
