The carrying box arrived intact, but as many have reported is of far lesser quality than the triangles themselves (very much an afterthought), though I believe it should last as some protection/organization for the three triangles as it only needs to sit in the trunk and not be moved/handled much. It would not be difficult to close it with a strap or improvise a replacement when necessary.
