Unique! Most are a very plasticky hair comb that also tend to be shiny. I got these in black and they are more matte finish, perhaps a little rubber-like feel and they work great! Size is perfect. UPDATE: 1/11/2026: So this morning I had the first tooth on 1 end of 1 of my 4 clips break off. I still have 3 other clips - and they all get heavy use. I'm still extremely happy with these and don't have any hair pulls using them. I always lose a few strands of hair with hair ties (scrunchies, bands no matter the material). These are my go to hair claw clips. I'm tempted to buy another 4 of these just to have backups but as I still have 3 I'll hold off for now. Still a 5 star product to me. I bought the 4 count black almost exactly 1 year ago. These are the only hair claws I use and I have tried lots. I like the extra row of smaller teeth for extra grip. They are perfect size and I love the non-shiny/matte finish that looks better on me than the shiny plasticky colors that seems to break more easily. I wish they had more natural shades of light to dark brown (but not leopard pattern) instead of pink, green, etc. so they blend in versus stand out. I noticed that the majority of the 1 star reviews about the clips breaking are for the Color: Black/Brown/Leopard which look like the more plasticky clips and they are shiny. Those appear to be a different material but it could just be a black matte finish on the same plastic. I wish product were listed of one product (just different color variations) so that the reviews are all for the exact same product.

These are great for my thinner hair. I've never had thick hair or needed the medium or large clips, they were too big and never could hold my hair, let alone hold it tightly, because I did not have enough of it. These clips hold literally ALL DAY LONG! The springs are tight and they really do hold. They are a more brittle plastic so if you do drop them on a hard floor, just right, the teeth break off. I've had that happen to one of them and only one tooth broke off, and I still can use it, it's not a deal breaker. I just bought another set, because I like to have these all over the place for convenience's sake.

These are the best hair clips I have ever owned. I have baby fine hair and these hold it in place when other clips just let it come undone.

Very solid with strong spring but too heavy for my thin hair. They fall out unless I use only one for all of my hair. But I like to put one on each side and they don't hold.

Who knew a double row would be so helpful with keeping your hair in place? I really have come to love these clips and will probably buy only double layered clips from here on out. The quality on these clips is great, I’ve had a couple of them break, but that’s after six months of use the size is perfect for my medium to short length hair. They are not difficult to open they are more than comfortable. The clip size is a little small but it works for my hair even though it’s pretty thick, but like I said, my hair is short the color blends in even with red hair really I am just pleased with these.

Conforme et très pratique

I love these clips! I have thin, fine hair and I work in a busy restaurant. It gets hot, so I use these clips to hold my hair up and keep it off my neck. I run stairs for 5 hours delivering food on two floors, and these clips keep my hair in place! No other claw clips has ever done that. I used to have to adjust my hair every 20 minutes. It's the double claw design. Outstanding design!!! I'm going to stock up!!!

Les pinces en tant que telles sont propres, mates comme je les souhaitais, mais ne me semblent pas très solides. Elles tiennent bien mes cheveux pour les attacher à demi, le haut du visage. En revanche l'emballage est désastreux pour un produit si fragile. Les pinces sont emballées dans un plastique basique, lui-même emballé dans une pochette "sac poubelle". Aucune protection de rembourrage pour protéger les pinces.
