I have to say it did not remove 100% of stains, but definitely did a very good job, particularly on the oven racks and door. It does require a lot of scrubbing though. For the oven walls I first used the sponge provided but then changed to a metal abrasive sponge to try to get some more stains off and it did work very well. The effect of the product does not change if you warm up the oven. High temperature will actually just dry the product out and require water to continue cleaning.
