Review: So much better than smelly, grubby, nasty washcloths. Try them and see! - I love Swedish cellulose dishcloths and these do not disappoint. So glad to have finally found them in black, which hides every stain and looks good with any neutral kitchen. They work well to pick up all the counter crumbs and such, are very absorbent, dry quickly, and are a better smaller size than your standard 12x12 washcloth. They run through the dishwasher multiple times and come out great...they can be disposed of, but are not disposable...they are easily washable. My suggestion is to rinse with water and squeeze all the water out before storing on your faucet or sponge holder, which helps avoid it getting stinky from bacteria.

**Q: How do you clean them?  Can they be put in the dishwasher?**
A: Yes, you can put them in the dishwasher or in your washing machine. they’re great.

**Q: I though these dry quickly? I just got them and wet one per instructions and rang it out and it's been 4 hours and it's still damp.**
A: I use the Swedish dish cloth so often during the day it doesn't have time to dry. I use it often, preparing dishes for the dishwsher, wiping the quartz counter tops during meal preparation and many other kitchen chores. I spray Clorox Clean Up directly on the damp cloth for germ free clean up and the cloth is sturdy enough to take it. 
I have found it indispensable in my kitchen. I am using less paper towels and saving $ by using the cloth rather than so many paper towels.
I keep it on my sink daily. At night I dampen it, spray with Clorox Clean Up, rinse it well allowing it to dry overnight ~ clean and ready for the next morning.

**Q: Can Swedish Dishcloths scratch marble, granite and man made stone like counter tops?**
A: These dishcloths are very soft and absorbent.  

I use t h em on my quartzite counters. Also ok for granite and marble. I love them. No more stinky sponges!

I'm glad to have these. They are useful around the kitchen. They dry very quickly, especially if you wring them out thoroughly, which doesn't take much effort. They clean counters and dishes well. I'm not sure if I prefer them over the 3M sponges, but they do cover more ground.
