The guides are now bigger
Purchased one of these rods 4 or 5 years ago and I love it. I just purchased another one and I realized that the guides are larger and there are less guides than the old version. Also the blank is thicker and feels faster (harder) and a bit heavier too.A note for the seller, the rod delivered by FedEx was broken in 3 pieces (photo attached). I requested a replacement and before I send the broken one back a replacement was on the way. Great customer support! The replacement was delivered by UPS and it was perfect.

Product is what I expected with prompt delivery
Great rod for soft plastics (tubes, brush hogs and some lighter weight jigs). I tournament fish and these rods are super light and sensitive, this is my 5th Duckett rod and have never been disappointed with the quality of their rods.

LOVE THIS FISHING POLE
I was looking for a light but STRONG BACKBONE POLE . To go with my Concept Z Reel that has 22lbs drag . And this Duckket Rod was the perfect match for my top water lures when i bass fish . I love this pole it has plenty of backbone and super lightweight the micro eyes really gives me a very accurate cast . 👍👍

As an avid Bass Fisherman in FL I feel like this rod is just okay
As an avid Bass Fisherman in FL I feel like this rod is just okay. Not great but not crap. It has a good sensitive tip and some decent back bone. I threw it with 15lb Flourcarbon mostly for Texas rigging a worm. It give you the ability for a fast stiff hook set but still gives you the sensitivity to feel the bite when fishing it in grass. I would not buy another one for this price as this one broke when setting the hook on a decent sized fish. I was warned about Ducketts breaking and ignored the warning. For this price I would do with a Lews Speed stick. Same price and better overall performance.

Great performance
I purchased this as an early Father's Day gift for my husband. He was thrilled and absolutely LOVES his new rod! He said it performs like a dream and he considers it the best rod in his collection. I also purchased the Abu Garcia Revo rocket reel. I've got one happy hubby!!!
