But it works great! **Q: could someone let me know the actual and exact length of the blade part? Thanks so much!** A: I just measured mine: 13.75 inches. It is NOT long enough to comfortably cut a pizza larger than about 12". Keep in mind you need an inch or two to pivot on either end of the rocking cut made with such a cutter. I wasn't paying attention when I bought this and thought it was 16 or 18 inches to cut a 14" pizza. Again, this is NOT going to work for pizzas lager than about 12" **Q: I'd it possible to sharpen the blade?** A: It’s is very sharp and the blade guard will keep it safe from knicks in the drawer. But it can be sharpened with a normal knife sharpener. **Q: Does this cutter suffer from rusting since it is 18/0 SS? Which is know to rust easily.** A: We have had this cutter and have used it for a couple of months. We have not experienced any rusting issues with the product, and love it. We wish that we had purchased it long ago. Works great! We usually wash and dry it right away, so I would recommend doing that to avoid any rusting issues.
