**Q: I just recently got the m711 cobra software from redragonzone.com and the software i downloaded doesn't have any effect on the mouse. what do i do?**

**Q: Can you disable the extra buttons so they do nothing?**
A: Yes, you can program or disable the buttons according to your needs.

**Q: Do you have to install the disk**
A: It will work out of the box but as an IT Admin of 20 years and a PC gamer for 30 years I highly suggest to install the manufacture drivers and software for a better experience. There are several reviews specific to gaming that state this works better with the manufacture drivers. In which I agree with them. It doesn't take long to install and then you can change the colors to personalize it!
