Review: Have been a FOWLR tanks owner for over 40 years. Had an Oscellaris clownfish for 23 years. We use well water and have never had any kind of tank issues. We finally decided to try a few "beginner corals". We've had mushrooms in the past with no problem so we got mushrooms and a tree coral. They did great so we decided to try a few more. We got an Acan, Zoas, Montipora, Star Polyps, War Favites, Favia, Duncan, Leptosperaes, and a Cactus Pavona frags. Everything but the Duncan and Acan started dying. On testing our tank water, we found that our dkh was off the charts it was so high! Checked our tap water and it was a little over 10 dkh. When mixing it with salt it shot up to around 22 dkh. Got a rodi system and we're slowly bringing it down. Now, we get to the Coral Reef food. We've used 1 full bottle and some of my corals are going to survive this, I think. My Lepto and Cactus Pavona are growing and looking much better. I'm sure it's because of this food. I put a cap full in each day. I set mine to autodose over a 1 hour period, and the corals seem to like it! **Q: If I'm manually feeding, do I need an eye dropper to feed directly on the coral or is just slowly pouring in the tank pver intervals appropriate?** A: You can target feed. Yes… You can also broadcast feed. Honestly I do not see any difference. I’m a strong advocate of using Amino Acids. After this bottle I have I’m going back to Brightwell Amino.
