Review: I bought this for my girlfriend who wanted to find out if I had been “messing around ”. I made a bet with her, and told her I’d prove my innocence by buying her this UV flashlight so she can look for semen stains on certain items that I either worn or fiddled around with. I didn’t think this device would find anything at all because I’m a very neat and tidy person but, unfortunately for me, it did. It uses 6 AA batteries and is fairly large and somewhat heavy, about 7 inches in length. It’s also made in China, as you can see in one of the pictures (on the box). There’s one button on the handle to push, to switch on the light. The light is quite powerful. Long story short, my girlfriend discovered semen stains that weren’t visible at all in normal lighting. I was very surprised. Well, more like shocked. She used the flashlight in the dark and hunted around our bedroom, and found a one-inch semen stain on the inside hem of my form-fitting black turtleneck shirt and small semen stains on two pairs of my shiny men’s black leather dress shoes. As you can see in the photos, I always keep my dress shoes well-shined. I wore these shoes and the black turtleneck shirt when I had an affair last year, but I wasn’t aware that I had left any stains on them. My girlfriend also used the flashlight in her little son’s room, and discovered semen stains on her child’s action toy figure. She used the light everywhere around the house, and found semen stains in our bedroom and in her boy’s toy box. To be honest, I wished this UV flashlight hadn’t worked that well (or even at all), but it was amazingly effective. I not only lost a bet with my girlfriend, but now the woman wants an explanation from me for how my semen got on my men’s leather dress shoes, my black turtleneck shirt, and especially her young boy’s toy action figure. Her child told her that he “saw me” take his action figure to the bathroom once, implying that I handled the toy in an inappropriate manner for my own pleasure. It’s an eight-year old’s word against mine. I not only lost the bet with my girlfriend, but now I got some explaining to do.

**Q: Is this rechargeable?**
A: If you use rechargeable batteries, then yes it is.

**Q: How many lumins is this?**
A: Unfortunately, that question doesn't work right. Really! 'Lumens' are units of 'visibility to the typical Human eye'.
And this is a "blacklight", meaning it's light is Not visible to humans. 
An alternative question is "How many watts of UV light does it emit?". 
A typical LED bulb of any wavelength is 15-25% efficient. So a white LED bulb that uses 10w of line power, makes about 1.5watts of white light.
 This flashlight uses 6 typical alkaline AA batteries. In my experience, each AA battery can put out about 1 watt of electricity. 
So this flashlight is probably like a 6watt LED bulb. 
The LEDs may be 15-25% efficient, so it probably makes about 1.0 to 1.5watts of UV light.

**Q: what would be the equivalent wattage?**
A: This flashlight uses 6 AA batteries.  I have tested some, what I saw is that each puts out about 1 watt of electricity. So compare 6 watts to the real watts spec (maybe 8watts?) of a regular LED bulb of 40w or 60w equivalent.

**Q: So if I buy this product and use it among children for the demonstration purpose of germ glow powder will the light under dark shows germ?**
A: This black light would make the Glo Germ powder illuminate nicely.

I bought this for my girlfriend who wanted to find out if I had been “messing around ”. I made a bet with her, and told her I’d prove my innocence by buying her this UV flashlight so she can look for semen stains on certain items that I either worn or fiddled around with. I didn’t think this device would find anything at all because I’m a very neat and tidy person but, unfortunately for me, it did. It uses 6 AA batteries and is fairly large and somewhat heavy, about 7 inches in length. It’s also made in China, as you can see in one of the pictures (on the box). There’s one button on the handle to push, to switch on the light. The light is quite powerful. Long story short, my girlfriend discovered semen stains that weren’t visible at all in normal lighting. I was very surprised. Well, more like shocked. She used the flashlight in the dark and hunted around our bedroom, and found a one-inch semen stain on the inside hem of my form-fitting black turtleneck shirt and small semen stains on two pairs of my shiny men’s black leather dress shoes. As you can see in the photos, I always keep my dress shoes well-shined. I wore these shoes and the black turtleneck shirt when I had an affair last year, but I wasn’t aware that I had left any stains on them.
