**Q: Does this have a google assistant smart screen mode? instead of alexa**
A: Users can switch to Google Assistant if they like, in the tablet settings

**Q: Was this actually released?  it went from "will be released on july 6th" to "currently unavailable" without ever being in stock.**
A: Be happy! Forget about it and look for something else. Went through the same thing, got a shipment last week (Monday, August 10th), returned it and the two replacements: Three times it was the low end version, regardless what the box read... And you do not want the low end version.

**Q: What lenovo tablet 10 inch have fingerprint scanner**
A: as far as I know none of them do.  That's part of the reason why this tablet costs a little less.  It does have facial recognition, but that's a little spotty.  I find I have to enter my passcode a few times a day, which given the cost trade-off, I think is acceptable.

**Q: What case can stay on while the tablet is docked? Can this item?**
A: Any cover that leaves the contacts and 16mm on both, back and front free along the long side can stay on. I think there are none.

However, it should be possible to use a USB-C cable for charging. You can still use the dock as dock and tablet interconnect using Bluetooth.
