Can I use it in my pizza oven?** A: The hickory chunks are very dry. I use them in an electrical smoker outside. If your pizza oven is in the house I wouldn't recommend using them. I have used these when smoking beef ribs (plate ribs or dino ribs), pork belly, burger patties and sausages, and chicken thighs most recently. The bag includes a mix of smaller chunks and larger chunks, but don't worry, there are plenty of larger chunks. I have noticed no issues with the quality or dryness of the wood. It burns or smokes well. The price was also in the same ballpark as prices at local retailers, and if that continues to remain the case, I will continue to order Weber wood chunks here online to save the time and gas spent on a trip to the store. (Oh, and one of the features to be rated is "Giftable". I gave that 1 star, as I don't think this is a great gift to give, even to someone who smokes meats regularly.
