Motor is plenty powerful enough & yet it's quiet BUILD & AESTHETICS Although it's a plastic body the build is robust & it's nicely heavy. It's easy to unscrew lid & bowl one handed without the Magimix Mini sliding around - the rubber feet are effective. There's a complaint about the components being difficult to put into place, but frankly this is absurd - the blade slides down onto the spindle only if a slot in the blade unit mates with a lug on the spindle, it's child's play to turn the blade unit until oriented correctly to the spindle. MY VERDICT I am very pleased with the compactness & the utility of the device. I love the colour of my bright red Magimix & it's very easy to clean. Wash the blade by hand separately & then put it back on the spindle for safe keeping 10/10 Review: Don’t buy this. Not for Canadian electricity current - I bought this item from desertcart’s third seller party. It came to me with an European prong. It would be dangerous to use in Canada.
