**Q: I wanted to buy extra disks but when I was looking, they had different letter sizes. Does the OXO cookie press use size M?**
A: I don't know the letter size.  I bought the OXO extra sets.  I had discs from cookie guns I had in the past and kept the discs after those broke.  Some of them fit, some don't.   The OXO discs are on the small size.  If you find sets from other companies that fit the OXO, I would be interested in knowing about them so I could add to my selection.

**Q: I have arthritis in my wrist and want to know if anyone thinks this would be easier to use than original presses.  Does it eliminate twisting?.**
A: This press is very difficult to use.  It took both my wife and I to push the button and then simultaneously lift the press rod.  You DO have to do some twisting and screwing.  The instructions are terrible.

**Q: How many disks will the storage case hold? It says it will hold more than the 12 it comes with, but it is hard to tell from the photos and in the video, it looks like extra disks would just sit between the 'ribs' in the case. Do I understand this correctly? Extra disk sets don't seem to come with a case, so I want to b…**
A: Yes, the case comes with 12 built-in slots to hold the starter disks upright, but there is room to fit additional disks bewteen the slots (however, as these extra disks are not held in place, they tend to bump into the other disks, potentially scratching them). The extra disk sets do NOT come with a storage case; I wish that OXO would make an optional larger storage case available with at least 30 slots to hold the 12 starter disks plus any additional seasonal sets they release (there are currently 12 additional disks available for spring and fall, with potentially more to come)

**Q: Can someone tell me the diameter of the stainless steel discs ?**
A: ABOUT two inches, or a tad less.

The OXO Good Grips Cookie Press Set is a great tool to make spritz cookies. The press is well-made, easy to handle, easy to clean, and it presses out very cute cookies. The set includes a wide variety of metal cookie plates, including daisy, fleur-de-lis, sunflower, tree, bear, wreath, heart, shell, snowflake, butterfly, shamrock, and flower blossom. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Cookies - Won't Work for Making Churros

If you want to make pretty cookie shapes in no time, this is the product you're looking for. I've been a longtime fan of OXO products, they're all terrific. So I had high expectations of this cookie press. It definitely delivers, as far as ease of use, and the end result you get when making cookies. That said, I do have one important question.... Why doesn't OXO make a disc for churros? I came across a similar kitchen gadget that was used to make churros. I normally just a frosting piping tip in a plastic bag for shaping my churro dough before frying. The catch is that I can't make them very thick. And I can't automatically make the hollow churros that can be filled with sweet stuff after you fry them up. Instead of just ordering a churro press, I figured I'd try this cookie press out. So no matter what, I've at least got a really good cookie press. I tried experimenting with different discs, but it just wasn't going to work for churros. It does work great in that you can hold the press sideways, and just click out long shapes (then cut with a knife when it reaches the right size). But the dough doesn't come out as a single, solid piece. At least, not in a shape vaguely resembling that of a churro. That you can't make churros with these isn't a bad thing. OXO doesn't advertise the product as something you could make churros with. I just had hoped that I would be able to do it. I can't, so I just buckled and ordered myself a churro press. Overall, I'm happy with this cookie press. Works well, and you won't strain your hand much, like with some cheap cookie presses out there. So if you want a nice cookie press, add this one to your cart, and buy it today.
