## Description

Biantie La 2-Pin 8mm COB LED Strip Connector, Solderless Clip, 10 Pack | Wire-to-Strip Clamp for 8mm COB SMD 2835, No-Strip 22-20 AWG Wire, 5V-24V DC, 5A, Clear Housing - desertcart.com

## Features

- No-Strip Wire Connection: Insert unstripped 22-20 AWG wire, then press the cap closed with pliers; internal pins bite through the wire's insulation to make contact, so no wire-stripping tool is needed on that side
- Clear Housing for Polarity Check: The transparent shell lets you see pad alignment and (+/−) orientation before closing the clamp; tin-plated copper contacts and a PVC-jacketed wire cover complete the connection
- Fits 8mm COB and SMD 2835 Single-Color Light Strips: Designed for 2-pin 8mm strips with exposed copper pads, rated at 5V, 12V, or 24V DC, up to 5A. For IP65 silicone-coated strips, peel back roughly 6mm of coating before inserting
- Kitchen, Closet, RV, and Display Case Installations: Bridges gaps over stove hoods, routes wire into cabinet corners, or completes an RV lighting DIY project, covering under-cabinet lighting, closet lighting, and display case wiring without a soldering iron
- Package and Compatibility Limits: Each pack includes 10 wire-to-strip connectors for solid or multi-strand 22-20 AWG two-conductor wire. Does not fit 10mm strips, RGB or RGBW strips, or wire outside the 22-20 AWG range

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do I need to strip the wire insulation before inserting it?**
A: No, please do not strip the wire. Simply insert your 20 AWG wire with the plastic coating intact. When you clamp the cap down with pliers, the internal blades cut through the insulation to contact the copper core automatically.

**Q: Why do I need pliers? Can't I just snap it shut with my fingers?**
A: Pliers are required. The connector is designed to bite firmly into both the wire and the LED strip to ensure a stable 5A connection. Finger pressure is typically not enough to force the piercing blades through the insulation completely.

**Q: Will this work with thin 22 AWG wire?**
A: We recommend 20 AWG wire for the most reliable performance. While 22 AWG is close, it is thinner and might not make as solid contact with the piercing blades, potentially leading to loose connections. For a safe 5A load, 20 AWG is the optimal choice.

**Q: Can I use these for waterproof strips?**
A: Yes, they fit IP65 silicone-coated strips. However, you must peel off the silicone coating from the copper contact pad area of the strip before inserting it. The connector needs direct access to the copper pads on the PCB.

**Q: Does the package include the wire?**
A: No, the package includes 10 pieces of the connectors only. This allows you to buy a spool of 20 AWG wire separately and cut it to the exact lengths your specific project needs, preventing waste from pre-cut wires that might be the wrong size.
