Though this is made in China, Rubbermaid is a U.S. company, and I have seen their spatulas being used by many amateur bakers on youtube.About the spatula: It is over 16 inches long, blade size is 2.75x4.5 inches, which gives a large swiping area, useful for folding large cake batters, because we want to fold the batter least number of times to prevent air deflation. The tip is reasonably flexible, but sides are very stiff. Handle and rubber quality is much better than cheap generic colorful spatulas . Remember this spatula is a 'COLD scraper', meaning this is NOT HEATPROOF.If you want their allrounder 'high heat scraper', that is significantly more expensive (Rs 1300+), and that is the model most U.S. consumers buy. If you want the more practical 13 inch cold scraper, that is also more expensive (Rs 500+), so I ended up buying this huge 16 inch scraper.With this spatula, we need a large cake mixing bowl.
